On April 21, 2026, the City of Oakland Park held its first Community Budget Meeting for Fiscal Year 2027. City staff gave a presentation about the most recent year’s budget and reviewed the process by which they would be drafting next year’s budget.

After the presentation, staff opened the meeting up to questions from the participants. Several questions were asked to quantify how the city has changed since 2014 in several areas. Staff did not have that information available during the meeting, but here are the answers to those questions:
