- Q: Will this development serve as a walk in clinic, and what are the operating hours?
A: The Oakland Park FSER will treat patients presenting with various healthcare ailments and injuries. Emergency Medicine Board Certified physicians will be staffed in the FSER 24/7. CT, X-ray and Ultrasound diagnostic equipment will be outfitted in the FSER, as well as Laboratory diagnostic equipment. This will be an emergency room facility only and not a walk-in clinic.
- Q: What insurance will be accepted?
A: Most insurance plans will be accepted including Medicare and Medicaid. Because this is an emergency room facility we will see and provide care to patients regardless of their ability to pay per federal requirements.
- Q: Are there any nearby examples of similar facilities?
A: The Plantation FSER (4100 NW 4 Street), under construction, is an example of how this ER will operate and function. Also, the HCA Florida Palm Lakes, located at 18000 NW 57th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33015, is another example.
